Verifactu in Tenerife for businesses and sole traders
We adapt Verifactu on the software you already invoice with, provided it is possible: the vendor documents it and you have what is needed. From 35 € for the first hour, travel included.
What Verifactu is, and when it becomes mandatory
Verifactu (VERI*FACTU) is the Spanish tax agency system that requires the software you issue invoices with to produce a tamper-evident record of each one — hash, chain and a QR code — and, if you choose the verifiable mode, to send that record to the tax office. It is not B2B e-invoicing (that is a separate timetable under the Crea y Crece law): it is an obligation on the programme you invoice with.
After Royal Decree-law 15/2025, companies must have the system adapted by 1 January 2027 and sole traders by 1 July 2027. It also applies in the Canary Islands: IGIC does not exempt you. 2026 is the year to get it done calmly, not the year to improvise in December.
What we do on the visit
We adapt Verifactu on the invoicing software or POS you already use; we do not sell you a different one. Three conditions: the software must allow it, the vendor must have it documented, and you must bring what is needed — a compatible version or licence, the company digital certificate, and administrator access to the machine and the programme. If Verifactu is already running and failing, we diagnose it. If it is not on yet and those conditions are met, we leave it ready: certificate on the machine that invoices, QR on the invoices and, if the programme submits to the tax office, the connection. If anything is missing, we tell you on the visit.
In a premises with several tills we sync the change so one terminal is not still issuing old-style invoices while another is on the new format. If the certificate is expired or installed on the wrong PC — the most common case — we sort it on site.
What we do not do, so there are no surprises
We do not sell our own invoicing package, and we will not migrate you to a different one "because it is the one we homologate". The AEAT does not publish an approved-software list: conformity is declared by the vendor. If the one you use does not document Verifactu, or the visit is missing a licence, certificate or access, we cannot finish the adaptation that day: we tell you exactly what is missing, and we do not invent a migration.
We also do not replace your accountant. Registration, tax treatment and questions about IGIC or whether the obligation applies to you belong with your adviser. We handle the technical side on your premises, within those limits.
Hospitality, retail and the till
In bars, restaurants and shops the invoicing programme is often the same POS as the till. A botched update on a Friday afternoon leaves you with no orders and no receipt. So if the premises are open, we first leave a way to keep taking money and we do the Verifactu change when service allows — before opening or after closing, if you say so when you book.
If your POS is one where the vendor handles the updates themselves, the job is sometimes network and certificate rather than reinstalling the programme. We see that on the visit too.
